An eau de toilette is lighter, so it usually lasts a few hours less than an eau de parfum. Reapplying once through a long day keeps it going, and the woodier EDTs tend to hold longer.

What is the difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum?
Concentration. An eau de toilette carries roughly 5 to 15% fragrance oil, an eau de parfum roughly 15 to 20%. In practice an EDT smells lighter and fresher, sits closer to the skin and fades faster, usually four to six hours against six to ten for the EDP of the same scent. Neither is better made; they are built for different purposes.
Is eau de toilette better for Indian weather?
Often yes. Heat amplifies fragrance, so a concentration that feels balanced in a European autumn can feel heavy in Delhi in May. An EDT gives you the same scent at a lighter weight, which is why the fresh and citrus EDTs sell hardest through Indian summer. For December evenings and weddings, an EDP holds better.
How many sprays of an eau de toilette should I use?
Three to four, against two for an EDP. Because the concentration is lower you can be more generous without it becoming overwhelming. Spray onto pulse points and let it dry rather than rubbing it in.
Will an eau de toilette last a full working day?
Usually not on its own. Expect four to six hours from most EDTs, less in heat. If you need it to hold from morning to evening, either carry a travel size and reapply after lunch, or layer a heavier fragrance underneath as a base. Are these eau de toilettes genuine?
Yes. Every unit passes a 100-point authentication across six stages before it is listed, and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity carrying the manufacturer's batch code for that specific bottle. You can run that code through any independent batch checker yourself.
How fast do these ship, and can I return one?
In-stock bottles are dispatched the same day, with same-day delivery across Delhi NCR and tracked delivery elsewhere in India. Sourced-to-order pieces dispatch in 3 to 7 days; the delivery line on each product page shows which applies. Returns are 15 days on unopened, unused bottles with a free pickup from your home. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, tell us within 72 hours, even if it has been opened.
