Returns & Refunds Policy
At Ownly Club, every fragrance we ship passes through our 100-point verification protocol before it leaves our warehouse, and each order arrives with a QR authenticity certificate. We stand behind every bottle. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and authenticity claims work, and what to do if something isn't right with your order.
How long do you have? It depends on why you're returning. Changed your mind? You have 15 days. Received something damaged or incorrect? Let us know within 72 hours of delivery so we can sort it quickly while the parcel and packaging can still be examined. The two are separate: one is a generous window for a no-fault return of a perfect product, the other is a short window for reporting a problem that needs fresh evidence.
1. No-Questions-Asked Returns
We understand that buying fragrance online, especially without smelling it first, is a leap of faith. If you change your mind after receiving your order, you can return it. No explanation needed.
Eligibility
- The product must be completely unused: not a single spray.
- The outer cellophane wrap and bottle seal must be fully intact.
- The original box, batch sticker, and Ownly Club QR authenticity certificate must be returned with the item.
- The return request must be raised within 15 days of delivery.
Return Charges
- A flat return logistics fee of ₹200 per order will be deducted from your refund.
- This fee covers reverse pickup, inspection, and re-sealing for resale.
Refund
- Full refund of the product value, minus the ₹200 fee, to your original payment method.
Why we need the cellophane intact: Once the seal is broken, fragrance and skincare products cannot legally or ethically be resold. This is industry standard across luxury beauty globally. If the cellophane has been removed or the bottle has been sprayed, the product falls outside this return category, but you may still be eligible under our Authenticity Guarantee (Section 3).
2. Wrong or Damaged Product Delivered
If you receive a product different from what you ordered, or your order arrives damaged in transit, we'll make it right at our cost: no questions, no fees.
Eligibility
- Report the issue within 72hours of delivery, via email, so we can investigate while the parcel and packaging can still be examined.
- The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
- Send clear photos of the sealed parcel and the issue, or a short unboxing video. This evidence lets us process your claim quickly, so we strongly recommend recording your unboxing.
Return Charges
- None. The ₹200 fee is fully waived.
- We arrange and pay for reverse pickup.
Outcome — Your Choice
- A replacement of the correct product shipped at our cost, or
- A full refund (no deduction) to your original payment method.
3. Authenticity Guarantee
Every product on Ownly Club is sourced through trusted international retail channels and verified through our 100-point authentication protocol. We are confident in what we ship. But authenticity is the heart of our promise, so we treat every claim with full seriousness.
How to Raise an Authenticity Claim
- Email support@ownlyclub.in with your order number.
- Describe what feels off: scent profile, longevity, packaging details, batch code, sillage, or anything else.
- Share supporting evidence: clear photos of the bottle, batch sticker, packaging, and any side-by-side comparisons. A report from a recognised third-party authentication service strengthens your claim but is not mandatory to file one.
Our Review Process
- Our authentication team re-inspects the same batch from our reserve stock against your product.
- We may request the product back for in-house re-verification, with return shipping fully covered by us.
- We cross-check batch codes, serial numbers, weight, packaging, and fragrance composition, and where needed, may arrange independent third-party authentication.
Outcome
- If the product is verified as not authentic: A full refund to your original payment method, with zero return fee and free reverse pickup. We will also share our investigation findings with you, because we take this seriously internally.
- If the product is verified as authentic: We share our verification report transparently. The product stays with you and no refund is issued, but our team will happily explain why the fragrance might feel different than expected. Batch variation, skin chemistry, storage conditions, and seasonal climate all genuinely affect how a fragrance performs.
Note on usage: Authenticity claims do not require the product to be unused. Meaningful evaluation of a fragrance often requires actually wearing it, and we recognise that.
4. What Cannot Be Returned
The following are non-returnable except under an authenticity claim:
- Products that have been opened, used, or sprayed
- Products returned without the original packaging, batch sticker, or QR certificate
- Items marked Final Sale or sold during clearance events (clearly labelled on the product page)
- Gift cards and discount vouchers
- Products reported outside the applicable eligibility window
5. The Return Process
Step 1 — Raise a Request. Email support@ownlyclub.in with:
- Order number
- Reason for return (change of mind / wrong product / damage / authenticity concern)
- Clear photos of the product, outer packaging, and batch sticker
- Unboxing video, if available, especially helpful for damage and wrong-product claims
Step 2 — Confirmation. Our team responds within 24 working hours with:
- Approval status of your request
- A return reference number
- Reverse pickup schedule (we arrange this through our shipping partner)
Step 3 — Pickup & Inspection
- Our courier collects the package from your delivery address within 3–5 business days.
- Please keep the original packaging ready: outer box, intact cellophane (where applicable), batch sticker, and QR certificate card.
- Once received at our warehouse, our quality team completes inspection within 2 business days.
Step 4 — Refund
- Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days of inspection clearance.
- Refunds reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Refunds are issued to your original mode of payment.
- For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are processed to a bank account you provide (we will share a simple form).
6. Cancellations
You can cancel your order free of charge any time before it is shipped. Once shipped, a cancellation is treated as a no-questions-asked return and the ₹200 logistics fee applies.
