Mandarino di Sicilia is the newest and freshest of the Blu Mediterraneo line. It opens on green mandarin, bergamot, lemon and blood orange — four citruses stacked, which is why the first ten minutes are so vivid — then a heart of petitgrain and spearmint keeps it cool rather than sweet, before patchouli, cedarwood and musk ground it.

The spearmint is what makes this one worth attention in India. It gives a genuine cooling effect that most citrus fragrances only imply, which makes it one of the better choices in the catalogue for peak summer and humid weather. Wear it to the office, on weekends and on travel days.
