Davidoff Cool Water Intense is a warmer, sweeter, more sensual take on the Cool Water name, and quite different from the fresh original. It opens with bright green mandarin, moves into a creamy heart of coconut water and sage, and settles into a warm base of amber and musk. It smells fresh and citrusy for a moment, then turns into a smooth, sweet, coconut-amber scent, cosy and long-lasting rather than aquatic.

This is an evening and cooler-weather fragrance: dinners, date nights and dressed-up occasions. It projects well and lasts a long time, so one or two sprays are plenty, and its sweet, ambery warmth is best saved for cooler air rather than peak daytime heat.
