Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel is the cleanest, most wearable version of the Le Parfum line, a white floral chypre that trades the original's sweetness for citrus and dry wood. Created by Maïa Lernout in 2020, it opens with bright mandarin and orange blossom, blooms into a creamy gardenia heart, and dries down on patchouli and cedar. This pack gives you six 1.5ml sprays, enough to wear it across a full week before deciding on a full bottle.

This is a daytime and office fragrance more than an evening one. It is polished rather than loud, which makes it easy to wear to work, to interviews and to daytime events where something heavier would be out of place. Longevity is moderate on skin but noticeably better on fabric, so spraying a scarf or collar is worth doing in Indian heat.

How is it different from the original Le Parfum?

The original leads with a rich orange blossom and honeyed sweetness. Essentiel keeps the orange blossom and patchouli signature but builds around citrus and gardenia instead, making it fresher, drier and less formal.
