This is the cream dermatologists reach for when skin is rough, bumpy or flaking rather than simply dry. Urea does two jobs at once: it binds water into the skin and gently loosens the dead surface cells that make the texture feel like sandpaper. Lactic acid supports the exfoliating side, ceramides rebuild the barrier.
