The Ambra has the most heavily worked case in the Signature Snake range. Just Cavalli's own spec sheet calls the shape simply "irregular" — faceted and angular rather than any neat polygon, with crystals set across the upper and lower edges and a scale pattern engraved into the coil itself.

At 22mm and 8mm thick on a 12mm coil it sits squarely in the middle of the collection for size. A Seiko VJ20 quartz movement runs behind mineral glass, and like the rest of the range there is no clasp — the spiral opens, slides on, and closes onto itself.

This is the two-tone version, steel and gold alternating down the engraved coil, with a silver-grey dial. The mixed finish shows the engraving better than any single-tone version.

Who is it for?

The engraving carries the snakeskin idea down the whole bracelet rather than confining it to the dial, and alternating finishes make it read far more clearly than it does in solid gold. The trade-off is upkeep: engraved channels hold skin oils and need an occasional wipe. The two-tone coil also sits against both silver and gold jewellery. Coil suits wrists roughly 15 to 18cm.
