Paco Rabanne 1 Million Lucky is the sweet, nutty chapter of the 1 Million line, launched in 2018. Greengage plum and a clean ozonic note open it, hazelnut gives the heart its distinctive roasted sweetness alongside jasmine and cinnamon, and honey with cedar and oakmoss holds the base. It is noticeably softer and more edible than the original 1 Million, which is metallic and spicy by comparison.

This is a young, easy-going fragrance for evenings out, college and casual occasions rather than the office. It is a genuine crowd-pleaser and one of the more approachable gourmands at this price. The one honest caveat is longevity: it does not last as long as the original 1 Million, so a top-up later in the night is worth planning for.

How is this different from the original 1 Million?

The original is spicy, leathery and metallic with cinnamon and blood mandarin. Lucky drops all of that for hazelnut, plum and honey — sweeter, softer and far more gourmand. If you found 1 Million too sharp, Lucky is the easier wear; if you want the classic, stay with the original.

Is this fragrance right for you?

If you like sweet, nutty fragrances and want something fun for nights out, this does the job at a very fair price. If you need all-day projection or an office-appropriate scent, look elsewhere — Lucky is deliberately casual and its moderate longevity is its most common criticism.
