Is it a day cream or a full moisturiser?

Both. It works as your daily moisturiser and adds a protective layer against environmental aggressors, so most people use it as the main morning cream. It is not a sunscreen, so still apply SPF over it.

Does it work under makeup?

Yes. Let it absorb for a minute, then apply sunscreen and makeup as usual. This is a premium, investment-level cream, so a little goes a long way.
