Gypsy Water is the Byredo most people meet first, and the one that made the house famous. It opens bright and sharp on bergamot, lemon, pepper and juniper berries, then moves into a heart of pine needle, incense and orris before settling on amber, sandalwood and vanilla. The effect is a forest at dusk — fresh citrus giving way to woodsmoke and warm resin. It never shouts; it sits close to the skin and reads as an extension of the wearer rather than a perfume.

Composed for Byredo by Ben Gorham's house in Stockholm, it is genderless by design, like everything Byredo makes. Wear it in spring and autumn, to the office, on weekends, anywhere you want something distinctive but not loud.

Is this fragrance right for you?

If you want the Byredo everyone recognises, this is it — beautiful, distinctive and easy to wear. Two honest caveats. It is a skin scent: reported longevity runs around four to six hours and it stays close rather than projecting, which is the most common criticism of the house and worth knowing before you spend at this level. And it has been worn widely enough that it no longer reads as an unusual signature. If you want something less familiar, Bal d'Afrique or Bibliothèque will serve you better.

How do I know it's original?

You can check it yourself. Every bottle carries the manufacturer's batch code, verified against our 100-point protocol and printed on the Certificate of Authenticity in your box. Are these fragrances genuine?

Yes, completely. Every fragrance we list is the authentic, original product, exactly as the house made it. Each bottle carries a verifiable batch code, and a Certificate of Authenticity is shown right on the product image.

Why is the price lower than I see elsewhere in India?

Because you're paying the global price, not the India markup. It's the same bottle and the same formula sold worldwide, without the local premium added on top.

How long will delivery take?

It depends on the piece. Anything already in our warehouse is dispatched the same day, with same-day delivery across Delhi NCR and tracked delivery to the rest of India. Pieces we source to order are dispatched within 3 to 7 days, and if a sourced order isn't delivered within 15 days, you're covered by our money-back guarantee. Can I track my order?

Yes. The moment your order ships, we send a tracking link by email and SMS so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can cancel free of charge any time before your order ships. Message us as soon as you can and we'll catch it before it's packed. Once it has shipped, the simplest route is our 15-day return, still at no cost to you.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
